| Summary, etc. | Testimony is a unique insight into the Holocaust, but as survivors grow frailer with each passing year it is critical that their stories be heard both to teach about this catastrophic period of history and to reflect on its contemporary lessons. To do so the Trust has produced a BAFTA award-winning DVD-ROM 'Recollections: Eyewitnesses Remember the Holocaust' in conjunction with the USC Shoah Foundation Institute. Recollections, which integrates testimony from 18 eyewitnesses of the Holocaust, including Jewish, Roma, Sinti and Jehovah’s Witness survivors, is the UK’s first resource to focus solely on the interactive and cross-curricula use of visual history in teaching the Holocaust. |
