The book also outlines the principles governing the care and protection of children, the remedies available for victims of domestic abuse and the public funding regime in family cases. This new edition has been fully updated to include the online process for financial remedies orders, changes to capital gains tax on separation and the latest position in relation to the implementation of the Domestic Abuse Act 2021, including the new s 91A of the Children Act 1989 (and the Practice Guidance: Non-molestation Injunctions, July 2023).
