Bibliography: p. 191-192.
Brassaï took his first photographs with a friend's camera in 1929 and was immediately hooked. This was his beginning as a photographer and the following years saw his reputation grow and grow with exhibitions of his work being held worldwide. As an artist he challenges us to open our eyes and see the world as it really is.
