Documentary that charts the life and work of Antony Gormley, the creator of the 'Angel of the North' sculpture, whose work is preoccupied with the human form and our shared spiritual potential. The film focuses on Gormley's most recent project, 'One and Other', where 2,400 volunteers each spend an hour doing whatever they please on an empty plinth in Trafalgar Square. The programme also includes six short films where Gormley talks about his major works, including 'Angel of the North', 'Field', 'Allotment', 'Domain Field', 'Blind Light' and 'Event Horizon'.
