Federico Fellini's account of the life of 18th century author, scientist and romancer Giacomo Casanova (Donald Sutherland). In the course of the film he becomes the lover of (amongst others) a nun, a hunchback, a doll and a sorceress. Photographed by Giuseppe Rotunno and with music by Nino Rota.
