Summary: Before moving to Wales in 2003, Tom Wood had been photographing the people of his Liverpool neighbourhood for almost three decades. These two volumes display carefully edited photographs taken from his archives filled with artistic chronicles of the lives of men and women. Even though the pictures are not presented in a chronological order, this set is saturated with history, showing Liverpool in transition from its industrial past.

Published to accompany the exhibition of the same name held at The Photographers' Gallery, London, 12th October 2012-6th January 2013, and at the National Media Museum, Bradford, 22nd March-1st September 2013.
