Reflective practice is a fundamental aspect of social work. It is now more than 40 years since the publication of the groundbreaking text 'The Reflective Practitioner: How Professionals Think in Action' by Donald A. Schön, and yet much of the teaching around reflective practice and the way that we see it has not moved on. Accelerated by the Covid 19 pandemic, social work has experienced rapid change, and we urgently need to consider reflective social work in new ways. This, not so little, book explores reflective social work in a very practical way.
